A great Whitening toothpaste I started using is the Colgate Max Bright with Mini Bright Strips. I have always like Colgate better then other toothpaste but this new kind seemed to really do the trick. It has little bright strips in the paste. They dissolve when you touch them, but I can see that my teeth are whiter with one tube like it states. Make sure when brushing you brush for a full 2 minutes. Most people only brush for around 30 seconds!
